Freeze Dry Industries

Since launching in 2015, Freeze Dry Industries has been committed to bringing widespread positive social impact to the agribusiness industry through the creation of commercial scale, solar-enabled freeze-drying centres for regional Queensland.

The creation of these manufacturing centres promises significant benefits through the mitigation of economic, social and environmental costs of food waste. Through this project, Freeze Dry Industries seeks to support farmers, wholesalers and rural and regional communities through jobs creation, resulting in a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing for individuals and families.

Investment

With the support of a $87,500 Growth Grant, Freeze Dry Industries sought the services of Altor Capital to help with financial modelling, legal and accounting activities to secure investment to build these regional freeze-drying centres to support their social impact outcomes.
